New exhaust needed

Post by pilajake » Tue Nov 04, 2008 6:04 pm

I need a middle and back box for my 2WD SGL3 1995.
Has anyone used IEZURA off Ebay for a combined price of £112 for middle and flexi centre or is the one from the club shop better value and quality at £160 . :?:
Stainless steel would be better so if anyone has a competitive price option I would be greatful for any advice.
I seem to recall someone in Swansea producing stainless steel exhausts for Bongos :?:

Don't bother with the back box - it'll only break anyway   Several members have now replaced their back boxes with just a length of pipe.

So far as I can see the back box is just 20(odd) Kgs of useless ballast when mine goes again it will be replaced with a nice length of pipe or possibly a straight through "Cherry Bomb" type muffler with a nice big tail pipe.

Something like this

I'll lock this one as there's a similar thread running here - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =3&t=26444 . Keeps it simpler to find & stops duplication & dilution of answers & info :D
