Bull Bar Bracket Fabrication Drawings

Post by samuel » Fri Aug 29, 2008 5:21 pm

Members have been asking me for a set of drawings I made up for the fabrication of bull bar brackets. Unfortunately they were lost for a while. But:

Jill has now found them. Yahoo!!

I have three sets ready for posting out and can scan the drawings for e-mailing if required.

PM me with addresses/e-mail adddresses if you require a set.

Cheers

Hi Keith

One trusts that no one is going to use my drawings for financial gain. They are being supplied for free after all. This my way of saying thanks to members in general for the tips i have picked up on the way, to keeping my Bongo up to scatch.

Hi
Tim kindly sent me a set of drawings for those brackets some years back, and I got a dozen or so made up for people, and , whilst I made nothing out of it on the brackets, I lost out on the posting.....whatever, if I hadn't had them made as a batch, they would have cost more individually :D ...If folk do make a bit out of fellow members, though, so be it....we would have to go to Mazda, or buy off e-bay, or elsewhere, and pay an awful lot more, or maybe the product wouldn't be available anyway!!!....I have no qualms about paying for what I need....if you run a car, it costs money....but the Bongo also adds an enjoyment factor, cheap holidays, and a darned useful carry-all....take all these guises into consideration, and even buying a few goodies, the Bongo is a cheap "all in one".....
People "crack on ' at the price of a Bullbar.....Try getting one made to measure (If the rules allowed)....around 600.00 GBP. Buy an original roofrail system....a couple of hundred from the maker.....Factory seat covers, etc. etc......but if somebody gets the items made cheaper , and makes a few bob on the side....everyone's happy. :D :D :D
Cheers
Helen
In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.

Hi guys,

New to the bongo scene and loving every minute!
Recently acquired our bongo over Christmas and now doing a few things to it.
We have bought ourselves a set of bull bars, an absolute bargain from an absolute gent in wales, £40 for a set in very good nick!
Trouble is they are missing the bottom brackets, I’m wondering if Tim, the helpful chap with the drawings, or anyone else has access to the drawings for the brackets? or if anyone has a set of brackets to sell?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

The Bongomeister is a true leader. He can be seen, mounted on his Bongo, his trusty archived documents in his raised right hand, leading his rebellious Bongo Tribe to victory in battle at the Field of a Thousand Veedubs. Hurrah =D>
