I've never heard of that warning light before either.... :? Must be a new shape bongo thing....

Could you tell us if there were any symptoms being displayed when the the light was illuminated? For example, did the heaters still blow hot? Was the coolant level still full? Any steam,or peculiarities evident?

As an afterthought...Have you a switch fitted on the lower right hand side of the dashboard with a picture of an engine on it? If so, is it switched off? (it should be).

Nothing to do with "New Shape". Mine does not have this. Could this be the mod to pre-warm the engine to ease starting in the north of Japan?

We had just driven back from kent to westcliff about 30 miles it was fine when we went to kent and fine when we started home it was only when we stopped that it started bipping and the light came on its the same light as the scavanging fan light but without the battery symbol next to it. I looked in the handbook and thats what was written next to the warning sign. It was late when we got home and dark so will check the things u suggested and see what happens when we use it today. Also its a N reg Petrol so not the new shape. Thanks everyone. Bongo and out

Would you believe it. !!
Just checked it out,i also have a warning symbol that says HEAT.
Dont know wot it means though it always goes out when i fire up.
Perhaps its only applicable to V6 petrol engines
Is there anybody out there. HELP !!!

Hi Kaz:
Its not a type of Dance that i know.
I might be wrong but here goes:The Lamda sensor keeps your fuel mix correct.
Know doubt somebody out there will put it in a more technical way.
