Where exactly will we meet, at what time and where will we eat?
Got to think of my tummy you know
Be kind I do not know this area at all.
Does anyone know if Dunwich Heath is a good place to walk dogs?

See you somewhere

Only one pub in Dunwich that I can see, The Ship Inn.
Food looks good and the beer.
Dunwich Heath is National Trust and they do charge £12 to park a "Motorhome" as previously stated.
Knowing them I am sure that is what they would class a Bongo as!!

We could meet at The Ship.
Or
I do know the people who run The Eels Foot Inn just down the road from Dunwich at Eastbridge.
They used to allow camping in their field I can check if they still do.
Nice people nice food good beer.
Postcode is IP16 4SN if anyone wants a look.

Come on folk we need a consensus, we may have to book for grub.

I have had a look online it appears that the beach car park has no charge. This is very close to the pub. There is a fish and chip cafe on the beach. Again dog friendly, abbey ruins and forest nearby. Haven't eaten there or at eels foot for several years.

Eels Foot website says Caravan Club members only :( - I'm in the C&CC #-o

I'm happy to go with either suggestion, although The Ship is nearer to the beach car park and also to where I'll probably be camping. The beach car park seems to be a good place for the initial meet-up.
