West Mids Volunteers Required

Post by Ian » Wed May 13, 2009 9:30 pm

Who fancies some posh new seat covers for their Bongo? 8) Free of charge!

We have approached a Birmingham based firm to design some replacement seat covers. They need to make templates from Bongo seats before they can proceed. They require a Bongo with a rear bench seat, and a Bongo with rear flip-up seats. They will need the vehicle all day, midweek, probably in around 3 or 4 weeks time.

Who wants to volunteer their Bongo? There's a free set of seat covers in it for you.......

I have one with only one flip up seat on one side as it has a small conversion. The rest of the seating is there though. Will that be any use?

Ian - I'd be happy to if I was more local but fuel £ makes it unattractive for me (although if they'd cover that cost then possibly.....). Surely someone local will grab this one!?!?!

Hi Ian,

I live in Leamington Spa wich is not far from Birmingham at all and I have split seats.

Will my Freda be ok for doing it?

It is a 1995 Freda, in case it matters.

Just let me know!

Also I have no problem with it being mid week as I can move my day off without too much trouble and with short notice. And I was just about to start sewing some trial seat covers so this could be my opportunity to save having to learn to sew!

Just a template at first. Then we can do whatever we want, minimum order of 25 sets though.

Back to the plot. Who is around for testing????
