There used to be an official Welsh bash every year, last year's at Abergavenny, but for some reason there wasn't one this year.

But anyone can organise one on the forum, just a case of sounding out possible dates & sites and seeing who fancies it. There was a Gower one done this way a couple of years ago.

Assuming dates suit, we'd be up for it

Absolutely :D

Kids & dogs of all ages as long as the site accept them, there are a few adult-only campsites around, just steer clear of them

I'd suggest trying to avoid school holidays as sites would be too busy, but throw some dates & rough location into the hat and see who's keen

Im in Pembrokeshire, and am interested in a Welsh bash.
I'll start looking for suitable sites.
Maybe 2014 we can have a midwales meet. Somewhere central so we can all get to it.
I hate being bi-polar, its brilliant!

Benar Beach is a good mid wales spot.Very friendly owners as well. My daughter camped there this year and fed back that it would be a good site for a group meet. Plenty to do in the area as well. As the name suggests, it is walking distance of the beach. Ideal for boating. Ignore the Nudist stuff, I have been going to this area most if my lufe and never seen any.
Very close to Shell Island, Harlec Castle, and Nantcol Waterfalls.

It's going to be in Port Eynon in April. Details will be announced shortly.
