Do I laugh or cry?
Driven 50 miles out to Donny to find that its not actually here.

Spannerman has taken it on a test drive to Btistol for the weekend.
:(

At least that should show up any potential problems I guess. . .

I was typing that from my fone in the rain hence Bristol became something else.

Back home now.

Despite the fact that the Bongo I went to scrutinise wasn't there, I chatted to the chaps that work there & they let me have a rummage around the other stock. Bottom line being, pretty much all the Jap imports there look pristine, no signs of bodged up bodywork repairs etc. They seem to have a fair bit of noddle Bongo wise when it comes down to bleeding methods etc. & the prices they have in the widscreens seem very fair compared to other places I've checked out.

Had a good look over a tintop which they claimed to be in a similar condition to the missing one. Arches were solid, hoses were good, no obvious problems.

They also change coolant, to get rid of the Jap stuff at the offset & give it some kind of underseal - not sure about cambelt change though.

I think its probably a good 'un but lets wait & see if it makes it back from Bristol okay first.
