Something for the weekends. Yorkshire Dales Icecream Parlour

Post by B*Witched Blingo » Wed Oct 05, 2011 11:48 am

Are you looking for something that's fun, Free Parking, Free Play and a Good Feed?

Then, may I suggest the Yorkshire Dales Icecream Parlour. It exceeded all our expectations. We thought it would be a small farm shack selling a familiar creamy vanilla icecream. Not at all what we got

Set amongst an actual working Farm. They have built a fantastic set of buildings 'Chalet Style' which house an abundance of activities for the children.
Outside there is a multitude of hand made play equipment. Very safe and very clean.

Inside, well even more of a delightful suprise. They have created in the 50's style Diner handmade by the staff. Crisp and clean surroundings enhanced with low playing music of the era which really makes you feel confortable, warm and welcome. Serving the best 24 flavours of Yorkshire Icecream, home made pancakes, waffles and much, much more.

The staff make every Sundae a work of art and it would probably be best to share one.

The Hot digity Dowg. This was fantastic. Local Produced sausage (Big ones), Home made spicey chilli. Topped with Tangy Cheese and Jalapeno peppers.

Very, very filling.

This isn't the normal rip your legs of with the prices, cause we can type of place. It is very reasonable. Anyway, if your visiting Bolton Abbey or Skipton. Then this really is a good lunch stop off place.

Hope you enjoy. :D
