help with sponsership

Post by dreamwarrioruk » Wed Apr 28, 2010 9:09 am

Hi all, those of you that know me will know im big into kiting.
Well this year im entering a 24 hr kite enduro race and our team needs to raise at least £100 for a charity. I went last year to it but helped out as a marshall but this year i really want to actually take part.

Details from kitecrowd

Ok Finally sorted out details for this next year
Note we have decided in these tough economic times to try and keep costs to a minimum so if you enter early enough the price is the same as last year even though we know we have additonal costs this year.
When 5th,6th June 2010 (you will need to be there to register by 9am on 5th although will be able to use bank from 12am on 4th for practice)
Where Hoylake (Where else )

Entry Costs
Teams to consist of 3 to 5 members (Note to go for the official FISLY record a team can only consist of 3 members)
Cost to enter
3 man team £54 (£48 if enter before 5th February 2010)
4 man team £60 (£54 if enter before 5th February 2010)
5 man team £66 (£60 if enter before 5th February 2010)
The Latest entry will be accepted is 24th May 2010)
Note numbers are limited so early entry is encouraged as once have maximum number of teams entry will close

In addition each team will need to provide another £100 which will either be
a) Returned upon proof that £100 or more has been raised for that team’s charity of choice.
The deadline for proof of charitable contributions is 1st December 2010.
b) Donated equally to the RNLI and the North West Air Ambulance
This should be provided as
1) a cheque payable to WSYC by Monday May 24th 2010
2) handed over as cash on the day of event.
3) Demonstated as already achieved on a suitable web site like justgiving.com

I will need to consult with my other team members but we would like to offer the funds to the air ambulance services.
so come on guys and gals, i know times are hard but even a fiver would help a worthy cause.
