Idea for Day Meet/Weekend Day Out
As an idea for a day out has anyone been to
Diggerland
Just off J31 M62 at Castleford.
Looks like a good idea for the big kids and possibly some smaller ones as well.
Wondering if anyone has been and could recommend or not for a potential day meet.
How busy does it get?
Do you get your monies worth? £15 per person for unlimited rides/drives.

Never been myself but they are always bleating on about it on my local radio station, I suppose it could be fun If they wasnt any little kids there then we could have some proper fun in those diggers , I wonder if the do an adults only event???

This sort of thing would be a giggle, a lot more expensive though....

We have been to Diggerland just outside Durham, great day out few years back before the Castleford branch opened, Fun for all the family. You do get a little grubby though after all it is building site conditions

Thanks Pete. How busy did it get? Don't want to be spending £15 to spend all day in a Q.Peg leg Pete wrote:We have been to Diggerland just outside Durham, great day out few years back before the Castleford branch opened, Fun for all the family. At the Durham Diggerland the queing was not too bad at all, we packed in a lot of activities in the day we were there Castleford branch could be busier as it is close to lots of main roads, durham on the otherhand was tucked out of the way in a quiet area.
