3 way fridge repair

Post by stilldesperate » Tue Sep 01, 2009 5:58 pm

Can anyone recommend someone in the Leeds area to look at a 3-way fridge, it's working fine on 240 / 12v, but badly on gas. (Or any suggestions as to the cause)

..... This is for a work colleague, so I don't know much more, but I think it's an Electrolux.

Thanks,

Hi Just a thought, the van has to be level to work on gas. If its not working at all on gas its
best to leave it to the professionals. Sorry dont know anyone up there.
Sometimes they have to be turned upside down to get the refrigerant to work. would't
try turning Bongo over though.

Good luck Brian

Definitely worth trying Brian's suggestion if its a portable fridge. Our old 3 way Electrolux stopped working on gas; turning it upside down for a short while, then upright again solved it.

Thanks, guys.

I'll pass the tips on, and see how it does.
