If anyone is unsure, you can find lots of other peoples experiences on the Internet. I will not be going near them.

Trust me here, You want to stay away from these jokers, Seen a few there. I live quite close by and none have been worth the money. Even when scrap prices were high..

The blunt answer I fear is yes, especially if we shoot ourselves in the foot. They would be quite within their rights to go after BF if defamatory material that we can't substantiate should be allowed to appear on here without an attempt to regulate it. It's easy enough to achieve the desired result by saying something like:
"I've never heard of anyone here having bought from them, which tends to suggest they are not especially recommended as an outstanding place to buy a Bongo from (and you do have to be very careful who you buy from as the Bongo is a specialist vehicle). Have a search and see if there is anyone who has and PM them for their views."
I think they'd find it hard to sue you for that one.

Nobody (so far as I can remember) has said they are sharks or anything - most have just said they looked there and wouldn't touch them with anybody's bargepole.

Re: Keighley 4x4 centre
I wouldn't argue the toss on that but my original post was to warn people not to go too near the edge of the cliff, just in case they didn't know there was one there.scanner wrote:Nobody (so far as I can remember) has said they are sharks or anything - most have just said they looked there and wouldn't touch them with anybody's bargepole.
I've just finished reading Richard Branson's biography and all about the BA dirty tricks campaign. Very educational. It seemed to say that if a plaintiff is able to persuade a court that remarks and/or actions might have a negative impact on their trading potential then you can end up being stung.

I think they also have to prove it's not true - just malicious.
If anything else were the case there couldn't be any sort of review site on the internet.

Its not worth arguing the finer points. But we have fallen over one cliff already and its worth sounding warnings I thinkscanner wrote:I think they also have to prove it's not true - just malicious.
