I guessed that, but as (SFAICS) December hadn't been mentioned anywhere yet I thought it best to check.

As it's on until 11/01/09, it could have been the first one in January...........

ooh i thought this had died a death -
The first weekend in december 6th/7th - I can only make it for the sunday (7th) but if anyone wants to make a weekend of it there,s an adult only site.http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/detai ... revid=2799
Otherwise this one is the right side of harrogate.http://www.ruddingpark.com/holiday-park ... /index.php
I was thinking of meeting up lunch/early afternoon then doing whatever activitys people fancy, then maybe the woodland walk after dark (old people (me) and young kids) there is also a large maze lit up for the more adventurous souls.
The only negative reports i,ve seen was that there is quite a queue for santas grotto.Apparently the hot chocolate is to die for so that me and jo happy. There are some discounts for groups on the activitys so if enough go and want to do the same stuff we may qualify for some.

Re the skating so no-ones disapointed under 4,s not allowed and 4-8 year olds must be accompanied by an adult -the smallest skate boot size is child size 8
A plea from me - if you,re ice skating please bring gloves (or hire them there for 50p) - a friends daughter recently had to have two fingers stiched back on after her dad accidently ran over them.
the rink itself is synthetic so hopefully fall injury less likely.

Pete it was lovely to see the pegleg girls on saturday and as for David he may have lost his hair but thats the only thing he has lost i fell in love all over again. :D perhaps this time you,ll remember to skate with your feet not your hands.

Sunday December 7th is absolutely fine for us :D . In fact, better than any of the Saturdays around that date.
We'll be probably there at lunchtime as it's not far for us. See you all there?

looks good for us too  Skating on my hands Karen  I had skated without incidents for 90 mins just unfortunate that the little chap I was helping kicked my skates as he fell  Gloves do not prevent a tendon ripping from the finger bone, just got home from hospital check up by consultant, wearing finger brace for at least 6 weeks  not stopping me from having fun  still out mountain biking and hope to nordic ski at the meet, good practice for school trip to snowslope in Manchester in Febuary

I think it's still on.
We'll be there on the Sunday. We will have to leave a bit early as one of our boys has to get to a birthday party.
Look out for a black over silver un-pimped AFT.
