Post by PixieAndTheMoon » Sun Mar 13, 2016 5:09 pm

Hi Friends,

For those who are interested that has not been before, here at Allithwaite LA11 7QJ we have a large field at our disposal, which now has a pump/cycle track. Many of us started up in Bongo’s and Freda’s and many of our friends still have them, however anyone is welcome to the meets be it tent to caravan or motorhome.

There are 8 hook ups available on a first come first served basis. Hook ups just £12 a night, non Hook ups £10 a night. There are ladies and Gents Toilets, Basic Showers and Kitchen facilities for washing up and an outdoor tap for topping up. We can be flexible if anyone wishes to stay longer.

There is a bit going on in nearby Cartmel on this weekend it is the horse racing weekend and on there will also be two concerts on at Cartmel race course for those that wish to go. We are about 1.5miles away from Cartmel on Allithwaite playing field.

On Saturday 28th May 2016 - Simply Red will be playing at the race course 30 minutes after the racing ends at approximately 5.30pm Tickets are £32.50 for full entry including the races.

Depending on how things go I just might turn up. Still waiting for the builders to find the time to do the new Kitchen I have designed for June. (Doing the plastering part myself). Plus my old college pal telling me it is ok for me to join him and his family for a holiday in Amman. Been promising to go there for the last two years after he came over to Scotland for a holiday with June and I twice recently.
