organised isnt the word, my camping stuff is all in disaray under the stairs somewhere where it was dumped in november, and i cant load it anyway because i have a house removal to finish on thursday night and a taxi-ing job on friday night -so i will be chucking in what i can find in at around 2am grabbing a quick kip then hoping to get an early set off.The only thing i,ve organised is a bottle of red,i did organise an elderflower flavoured gin and tonic as well but i drunk that already -i think i like it, but might have to try a couple more to be certain.

Shame you won't be there Tomo, could have bought you a pint for the full size spare you gave me FOC earlier this year! Hopefully catch up later in the year.

We're not there till Sunday sometime but will be good to catch up with everyone.

Hi Dave,

We had a nice turn out of lovely people as we do. Everybody had fun (hic) which is why there are no pics, weather wise we are in the Lake District that means rain usually lol. But everybody's awnings dried out.

Hope you keep well our cherished Dave x

Heatwave Brian? Yeah OK I will believe you ..... NOT lol

It was a good meet and I will again be doing the Steam Gathering.

Hi Glad you all had a good time. We had the van serviced near Broadway (Cotswolds) on Friday then stayed over at the CC& C site in Oxford, clean but basic site right next to the park and ride so very convenient. Really enjoyed the architecture and history, many good pubs and realistically priced eateries. Weather dry but went from really hot in the day to freezing at night. But we had a good time.
Should make the steam gathering.
Brian did you get wet under the waterfall.

Dave, we were trying to keep quiet about the meet because if others found out what a good laugh we had, they might want to come to the next one [-X [-X

Brian, did Oz give you a camp bed for me?

well it was all very civilised and heducational -I learned a lot about viticulture relating particually with refference to quality wine purchase -some very cultured people was there. :-"
thankyou Jo and Chris for organising this - cant wait for the steam fair which i am sure will be equally cultured, informative and high brow.
