- just turn up and do what you enjoy -no pressure.

3 years ago i was worried about it not being my thing too i'm not much of a socialiser or drinker (only takes a couple anyway and i fall over  ) -In reality you get to meet really nice people of all ages - from old wrinklies like me down to the littlies and smashing kids they are too. some stay around the site, some go off and do other things (last year a group went to go-ape and swung about in some trees) -some go off and do their own thing, or if a few want to go for a walk they organise themselves to do it.
I love going to meets now and have made some real friends.

There is a marquee where we usually gather in the evenings -again no pressure though.

- This is a cracking camp site - amazing sunsets and some good walks around. No playground but safe for the kids to run around.
None of us want to do anything to get banned from it - It is on a working farm the cows might disturb you in the morning but thats about it. :D

Just had confirmation from Gibraltar Farm that we are in.

Please do not attempt to book direct with the site. We have exclusive use of all 18 hookups plus the adjacent field across the trackway.

Bookings only via me...but not yet. [-X

Trynig to work out a fair way of allocating the hookups. Watch this space.

It's never windy OR rainy at Silvergale.

They always seem to come together.

Oct 2007: Bright sunshine, calm, shirtsleeves.
Oct 2008: Tail end of a hurricane complete with monsoon.
Oct 2009: Jut a few damaged awnings overnight but otherwise good weather

Oct 2010: ??????

Every year: A great weekend in great company
