Community Garage gauge of interest

Post by Fassi » Mon Mar 21, 2016 1:31 pm

Wondering what everyone thinks of trying to set up a wee place where all us amateurs could work on our bongos and other vehicles if required. Was thinking if we could get somewhere cheap and central for people then it could be a good place to share knowledge, do services etc. Just a thought and no idea of costs yet. Just wondering if there was a wee community garage if it would be of use. My problem is living in the centre of Glasgow with no drive way etc. Been doing all my bongo work lying on the street over the last 2 weeks with shoppers having to step over me while I change pump seals, fit exhaust bits and now I need to do a wishbone.

Thoughts?

That was just a random Google search maybe more around by you ..

There used to be quite a few 'Hire a DIY garage' around by me (in Walsall) I must admit I don't know if any are still in business ..
