Giving this one a try tomorrow for 4 nights, if they're not fully booked!
Still waiting for a reply to our email.
Not a brilliant forecast but SWMBO is hard to budge from the west coast, + it's less than 2 hours from home.
Itching to get our first leisure trip in for a while.

Re: New destination
Been a quite year for us this year with June's eye operations and a family wedding conflicting with our usual hangouts. So far just June and I set for the Scottish Bash at Lossiemouth and Just me at the Silverdale Beer Festival arranged in the South Lake District so far. Hopefully more will turn up before the nights become short again.

Having a nightmare with getting the pictures up so heres a link to the album,

New computer no likey photobucket
Anyway, site was good, plenty of residential caravans so minimal tower shower block. Very clean but only one each shower for male/female.
Little village has one Inn, good seafood/beer/whisky but not cheap, had an Egon Ronay badge a few years ago.
Also an excellent coffee shop overlooking the natural harbour, one of the best I've seen.
We throughly enjoyed our few days away, and we'll go back. Lots of quiet walking or cycling, on and off road.
I've spent hours trying to get photo bucket to work so I'm off to try another browser

Re: New destination
Excuse extra post, found a pic resize site so I feel the need to experiment!
The Campsite
Site viewed from the grand wee coffee shop,(also the village store and Post Office). Its on the shore line in between the two tables.
Para Handy arrives
Drops anchor
I got a day out cycling and visited this
Around the Mill there was an outdoor art exhibition, here's a few of the installations.
