When you do get your Bongo, behind the King's House Hotel at the bottom of Glen Coe is an ideal camping spot and you may wake up with deer around the van :D

You should have taken the back road through Glencoe Margaret. The one where you pass the Clachaig Inn, Red Squirrel Campsite and Glencoe Village. There might have been a Bongo or two lurking at Red Squirrel, our favourite hide out.

Locals drive VERY carefully on that road at night because the deer like to stand on it and lick the salt of the road. please be careful because it takes no prisoners.

If you are looking for a nice place to stop for a drink or a meal The Clachaig Inn (popular with hill walkers) is set in a stunning location just a mile or so off the main A82 at Glencoe. You access it via a narrow single lane track. For directions Google Clachaig Inn to find their site which has directions and a map. After having lunch you can then go on to do the wonderful Kinlochleven Loop (B863)- featured in another route review on here. This whole area is littered with awesome roads.
all the same but different
