European Breakdown Insurance

Post by Ian » Fri Jan 17, 2020 10:47 am

Cathy, a member from Portsmouth, reports that she got 1 month's Euro breakdown insurance for her 2000 Bongo for £142 from LV Britannia. This might be useful for others in a same predicament.

Thanks for this - we are going to France in May and was worried about breakdown cover.

I think that's probably 1 year's European breakdown cover Cathy got. Another to consider is to open a Nationwide Building Society Flex plus bank account. It costs £13/month (£156pa) and includes European Breakdown Insurance on any car, worldwide travel insurance, phone insurance and a whole load of other things. Read the policy for details, but if it suits you it's a cracking deal.
PS if you get an a/c holder to nominate you, both you and they will receive £100 each. Happy to nominate you !!!
