Lifesure do not even ask if it is a first, second or even a thousandth vehicle.

I wouldn't use 2 gether, I'd rather risk driving without insurance.

"" Lifesure do not even ask if it is a first, second or even a thousandth vehicle.""

That is probably because they already know what your Insurance Status is using the ISC data base.

They also know I have 3 vehicles insured with them any of which could be a "first" vehicle but they have never asked which one it might be.

Any particular reason? They've given me the best quote for x years and the Bongo is my first and only vehicle. However, I've not yet had to make a claim!

That may be why you're happy with them.

I had breakdown insurance with them once and just couldn't didn't like the service.

That statement is probably a bit unfair but cheapest quotes aren't always the best value. I suppose it all depends which company they have insured you with.

Which company is the policy with?

something might have changed recently, as they also asked me "when i insured a kit car " what my main vechile was.

Everywhere else I've ever used inc. Lifesure just asked about any other vehicles I use (a total of 6) but not which is the "main" one - a good job as well because there isn't a main one.

Anyway how to define "main" - the one I use the most often, but do not do the most miles in, or the one I do the most miles in, but don't use as much as the one I use most often?

It might be worthwhile for you to apply for a "Traders Policy".

I would Imagine that the Vehicle that does the most miles per year would be the main vehicle.

Ask any guy with a Harem.

They only ask about "use" not ownership or even "keepership" and I have use of the vehicles I don't insure all of them.
