Has anyone any experience of insuring a Bongo camper to rent it out, costs etc?

Don't bother, it will cost a fortune and you have to pay up front whether you ever use it or not.

Even if you do, you would need to hire it out for about 4 months before you covered your costs.

You would be better off insuring it as and when needed using somewhere like dayinsure.com which is backed by Aviva.

Let the hirer arrange and pay for their own cover and just charge them a daily/weekly rate.

Cheers Scanner, that's what I was thinking let the person put it on cover themselves, maybe a security deposit as well.

Don't do it.

Others will say this is the key to your fortune.

Hya Stu,
My daughter Maddy is marrying a nice chap called Aiden Cook and when I visited her last year, I spied yer van over the road - subsequently Aiden's mum moved across the road to another house she owns, which in my head plonks her very close to you :-)
Small world matey

Hi Roy, Is the lady called Sally? As she moved from a larger house to just across the road, she drives a silver Polo.
What a small world we live in.
I expect you to knock on my door for a coffee if you are ever up again, you are more than welcome.

Regards
Stu
