fuel draing back

What's the MPG like? Can I use chip fat and veggie oil? What about LPG?

fuel draing back

Post by 18350 » Sat Aug 22, 2020 1:46 pm

Hi everyone, I hope some one can help with this, my bongo has is having trouble starting (not glow plugs) it turns over for ages before starting if left at least 24 hrs after 8hrs starts ok. It seems like fuel draing back. Could it be air getting in some where. It was serviced in March with fuel filter changed and the problem has only just started. I can't see any diesel leaks. Any help will be appreciated.

Welcome aboard. 8)

Are you parked on a hill, and if so could you try facing the other way?

I have heard of fuel running back when left facing up hill.

Hi Bob, it's alway parked facing down hill, Ive had it 3 years parking in the same place, so I don't think thats the cause. Thanks anyway.
