V6 fuel consumption!

Hi Bongonauts,
Just wanted to ask if 23/24 (at best) mpg is normal ish for a 2001 V6 2WD. The Bongo is well maintained, runs immaculately, and is smooth and powerful with 68,000 miles on the clock It has an Outback rear conversion, pop-top, running, with 38 psi all round and has Millers additive. I guess a 2.5 V6 is never going to be super econimical but I just wondered what other V6 owners were getting in terms of their mpg?
Thanks in anticipation
Paul... Apologies if this has been covered before.
