Issues since being laid-up

What's the MPG like? Can I use chip fat and veggie oil? What about LPG?

Instead just blow back to the tank from the fuel filter to clear it.
Thanks for the heads-up on this, I wasn't aware that it existed.

I did this today, I used a tyre inflation compressor to blow pressure down the tube. It was gurgling in the tank so I guess it confirms that the pipe & tank filter isn't blocked. When I removed the tube off the filter I expected diesel to pour out, but it didn't, 🤔 is that correct?

Im assuming the fuel pump is mechanical, and not an electrical one at the tank?

Next step is the banjo screw filter, I'll need to get a socket set to get to to it. It looks to be 14mm?

If that filter is clear, then I'm at a loss 🤔🙁

Suck the fuel forward from the tank to the filter housing, then fill the filter then bleed up to the banjo filter at the pump or you may flatten your battery trying to bleed the pump to injectors later.

There isn't a fuel pump at the tank at all its sucked from the tank by the injector pump. Only the petrol versions have a pump sunk into the tank.
