Lpg conversion

What's the MPG like? Can I use chip fat and veggie oil? What about LPG?

I had my Estima and V6 Alphard converted by a registered UK LPG autogas guy close to Junction 10 M6

V6 fitted with a Romano system and Flash Lube around £1200 ..

Dunno if you got your Cam belt changed .. but the same guy quoted me £150 labour for my V6 Alphard .. plus parts at cost ..

Cam / crank seals are well worth getting done at the same time ..

Yes that's the one ... if you use him (Boss is Abdul.. dunno what the big 'Polish' guys name is) mention Mike from Walsall passed yo on ..

It's been about21/2 years since he fitted my V6 Alphard with a Romano system for £1200 ..(but still maybe haggle with Abdul ??)..

He didn't do the cam belt as there was a sticker on the cam belt cover saying it had been done at around 100.000 Kms in Japan ..

Strangely I had a problem last week at the JDM show at Castle Combe when I struggled to fill up with LPG ..

Took it back Monday .. no hassle fitted a new gas valve free of charge ..

Dunno if you have been to the workshop .. maybe small but they certainly have some up market cars in there ..

At that price he should fit Flash Lube for you as part of the Job .. (get him to fit it under the front bonnet ..not in the engine bay.. bottom right blue cap) ..

Maybe worth getting the cam shaft seals done at the same time as it's only a few minutes to hook them out while doing the front end ..

Also get him to fit the largest LPG dough nut tank as possible .. with my V6 Bongo I easily got 75 litres in .. With my V6 Alphard i struggle to get 55 litres in ..

My tank held 75 litres of gas winter and summer ....

Allowing for gas expansion it must have been over 80 litre gross capacity ..
