Very true. Seems a shame a handful of old camper vans (which are not really the problem) have to get caught up in this but such is the nature of over reaction, the same thing that caused the rush to buy diesel. But Londoners should really be getting out of their cars regardless of engine type i reckon (with the possible exception of electric) as congestion is the fundamental problem.
Taxis and buses are the problem in London ask anyone who has to drive there.

I can just imagine trying to deal with the taxi owners. Hopefully the buses will get cleaned up pronto. Then there's the essential goods vehicles, etc.

Ok, so we have settled on one, after seeing a few rust buckets we have found a 99 V6, 63000 miles, shiny as a new pin.... how exciting

I took my V6 into the local tyre place last month.

The guy drove it onto the ramps then came running back saying, "I wasn't expecting a V6! It's beautiful!"
