Be aware that some sites aren't keen on sewn in groundsheets as they kill the grass off!

With a built in groundsheet - Olpro loopo breeze inflatable is one of the simplest to put up.
Kampa Dometic Trip Air Drive Away Awning has a clip-in groundsheet.
If you're considering a seperate groundsheet, because of many sites insisting on them, Obelink trinity is easy, just 2 poles. And Air Seconds Base Connect Fresh is also easy to put up.
Allan's closed. We recommend PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services in Plymouth.

Thanks Geoff we used to have breathable mesh groundsheet when we had VW's and tents years ago when kids were little as much better for the grass (but always had a tent with built in ground sheet) now grand-daughter so bought this Bongo. May look at the clip up groundsheets but worried the rain as well as bugs will come in (Me and my husband will be in the Bongo we'll be fine but daughter and grand-daughter will be in awning) Thanks for your comments. Regards Helen and Mark

Hi Doone, many thanks for this info will check out online, we can't wait to get started even though we're 60 and 64!,didn't think we'd be going back to campervan camping again after doing it for years with the children growing up, now doing it with grandchild and daughter. Been away once so far in the forest and it all came back to me how much hard work it is!!

The packing to go can be a challenge, making it all fit yet still be easily accessible! :)

Hi, still struggling how to put a post on this website!!! so thought I'd ask you sorry. We bought the Kampa Dometic Trip, looks like just what we need, just trying to ascertain whether the gutter rail on our Bongo AFT is a normal one or a shallow one, so can get the correct attachment for the D/A awning (figure or 8 tracking strip or Pole and clamp kit) do you know by any chance? Many hanks in advance

Sorry I don't know how they'd classify Bongo gutters but lots of owners use figure of 8 fixings for various awnings. 🙃

We used our Cayman Classic Mk2 for the first time last weekend. Made a few newbie errors which will be rectified next time! :?
