fiamma awnings

Post by sallyhilton » Sat Dec 26, 2020 1:41 pm

Please can i ask which is the better Fiamma awning for my Bongo friendee - the F35 or the F45. We are a bit worried the F45 will be too big and heavy ?

Hi Sally

Sorry, I don't have an awning, but welcome aboard. 8)

Depends if you want manual rollout or mechanical rollout, I have the F45 been on the van for the last 12 years no problems, it can be wound out in 30 seconds.

Fitted the F35 to ours, maybe in hindsight the roll out type may have been better, but the F35 is lighter weight and isn’t too much faff once you get the hang of it. Two person job if you want easy life but I have done it solo.
