rear wheel arch replacement and respray
Hi Everybody, one week in tomorrow with my first Bongo. Gradually getting things sorted, prioritized and costed. the one thing that is well beyond my skill set is the bodywork. the rear arches are in need of cutting out, replacing and a respray. i've read a lot of posts on here on just this topic but would ask again for any advice on a good reliable garage in the south east area. I'm in Rainham, Essex but happy to trawl a few miles for the right person. any suggestions as always really appreciated.

Re: rear wheel arch replacement and respray
Hi
I've got a quote for doing the wheel arches on my Bongo and the garage is saying there aren't any wheel arches available to buy and he will have to make them.
Is it possible to buy a bongo wheel arch?
Many thanks
Charlie

Not as such its quite common to use these styles from eBay shown

Some people also cut the replacement arches down the middle and add an extra spacing bit as they reckon they are a few cm's short and claim they look off centre - must get my eyes tested again

Re: rear wheel arch replacement and respray
Most people as far as I understand use sprinter replacement arches , bongo spares even sell them as do mazdabongo.com .
Might be work giving the club shop a call to see what Ian can do for you .
Keep us up the speed as this is a topic that is of interest to all bongo owners !

Also have a look a this tread , it might be another option

Hi Charlie,
Just out of interest, what sort of price range would I be looking at for wheel arch replacement? Something that I will myself in the not too distant future.
Thanks
Steve

Hi, I used these people mc trading ltd (quality-performance-parts) they list the wings as Sprinter/Bongo on Ebay
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MERCEDES-SPR ... Swe5pePytB
If that helps?

Sorry forgot to add you may need to buy 4 to allow your garage to be able to make up interior wings as well which is what my guy has done.
