Hi all been a while since posting here.
Anyone here know about or have my old Bongo N54 NCW?
It is taxed and tested.
As older members will know it had a homemade conversion and twin tanked to run on 100% veg oil.

Wow, great to hear from GP after all these years and hope you're keeping well. N Reg Bongos have rust as a principal enemy but hopefully its not succumbed. I remember the veg oil mod well - nice bit of workThe Great Pretender wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 12:31 am Hi all been a while since posting here.

According to members database N54 NCW was alive and well in Wirral up to July 2018 when the member did not renew.

Re: N54 NCW
Thanks for that Ian.
I’m well Mike, nice to see you are still here. I part exchanged the Bongo against a nearly new top of the range Honda CRV at just under £30,000, 4x4 cream leather and too many computer aids that I still can’t master. The car is great and on a holiday to Northumberland returned exactly 50 mpg. A great car........shame about the main dealers being so useless.
So do I miss the Bongo, very much so, I just enjoyed driving it anywhere for any reason.
I just use her indoors Micra now about town. Enough said?

Love it. Still enjoying driving my old '95 model top heavy AFT (perhaps enjoying it more than ever now the kids are grown and its my personal camper). A £30k motor is something I could only ever dream of so jusf as well! But it sounds a fab motor. The Great Pretender wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2019 12:46 am Thanks for that Ian.

Nice to know it is serving you well Mike. A friend has a Toyota Alphard V6 converted to LPG, we both looked at them when Wheelquick started importing them, I would have bought one but there was no towbar made for them at the time.

Yes gotta have a towbar. My partner and me now tow an Eriba Puck caravan for our joint outings as the Bongo alone is a bit two basic for our two ageing framesThe Great Pretender wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 12:58 am Nice to know it is serving you well Mike.
