Tow bar fitting

Post by wesutf1 » Wed Oct 10, 2018 10:56 am

Hello,

I am looking at getting a towbar fitted to my bongo.

I've been trying to work out which tow bars are good and which are less so. What are people's experience with either the PCT Automotive or a Tow-Trust? I've been quoted by a mobile fitter £320 to fit one of these two, and was just wondering if they are ok, or should I be looking for an A1?

Many thanks,
Will

Have you checked the vehicles structure to make sure that is able to support a tow bar safely ?

Take care.

By which he's referring primarily to corrosion, just to be clear

Yes, as far as I can tell, there will be no issues in that regard.
