This might be of interest to some one looking for a bit of heat.

I think they have been mentioned on here before, they look like a Chinese copy of a Ebersacher/Webasto.
Don't think anyone has been brave enough to take a punt on one yet, I was waiting to see if anyone else tried one first.
It would be a massive saving on a genuine Eberspacher but a lot of money to waste if it lasts a few months.
I wonder what the availability of spares/service kits are like?

Wow! That's cheap - if it works, etc.

there is a Facebook group for these. (Chinese Diesel vehicle air heaters - Troubleshooting & Parts sales.)

There have been a few Bongos done posted on the group and I am very tempted myself.

not without some problems but for the money almost worth a try.

I don't have (and never will have) a facebook account so cant see anything on that page.
What's the longest anyone has had on fitted in? any been trouble free for any decent length of time? Is the heat output decent? fuel consumption?
I suppose the most important thing is how safe are they? Would you be happy to leave it on during the night while your kids are asleep?
I must admit im very tempted myself just possible safety/reliability issues worry me. A genuine Eberspacher/Webasto is at least 5x the price, you have to wonder why?
