Farewell to Ann

Post by Ian » Sun Sep 09, 2018 9:33 am

It is with sadness that we announce the passing away of Ann Johnson, one of our most popular Bongonauts. Together with her partner Ed Ashington, Ann was a regular at most of the club meetings until recently and will be missed by all those who knew her. Bye bye Ann

Very sad indeed to hear that news and please pass Trish and my sincere condolences to Ed if you're in touch. Happy memories of an Allithwaite meet where we were parked up next to them in their newly acquired Bongo. Rest in peace Ann

It's so sad to read this, my condolences to Ed and family.
Allan's closed. We recommend PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services in Plymouth.

I have received this message from Ed:

"We are trying to organise a Bongo convoy to follow the hearse at her funeral. Have had quite a good response from the Mazda Bongo facebook page but would be grateful if you could post on the Bongofury site as not all Bongofury friends are on facebook.

Cremation is at 12 30 on Tuesday 2nd October 2018. Bongo convoy meeting at the Kings pub, Kings Lane, Bebington, Wirral Ch63 8NR ready to go at 12 noon. Cremation is at Landican Cemetary, Arrowe Park Road, Wirral CH49 5LW.

Return to the Kings pub for refreshments.

It would be great if we could give Ann a Bongo send off...with maybe the first funeral Bongo convoy....."

See you there!

Hi Ian...thanks for the e-mail reminder....we will be there out of respect for one of our Bongo family...let's hope that we have a good Bongo turnout.
