Tire recomendations

Post by Eratosthenes » Sat Sep 08, 2018 5:12 pm

In the next couple of weeks I am hoping to get a new set of tires.
I have trawled through previous posts hoping to find some recommendations or those to steer clear of, but haven't really found anything. Can anyone one recommend a tire, preferably all season as we do get out camping as much as we can.

After 2 years on and not much wear (though i don't do high mileage so maybe after 10k miles) I'm very happy indeed with my Maxxis. Hard to put a price on an affordable tyre that gives great reassuring grip in all conditions. See this thread:

Mike - interesting info, and found good write ups on the Maxxis. One of the sites I looked at didn't give load ratings so I will follow that up on Monday. Thanks for reply.

My pleasure and yes, you do need to make sure any tyre meets Bongo load rating requirements

Just happen to come across this thread. For those who are still looking... I would like to share this wheel and tires package that I found . You might want to check it out as they offer affordable deals.

Stop spamming us Hector or we will ban your IP address. Why would someone in Florida be wanting to supply Bongo Friendee tyres (not tires, please note)?
