Hi everyone this is just a heads up about my RAC recovery quote !
After being with them since 2010 they decided to treat me to an increase in premium to £174.00.
After calling them to express my disgust and cancel my membership they offered to reduce my premium to £99.00 for 15 months Home start and recovery to include me and my partner!!!
They are now forgiven.............for 15 months!!!!!
RAC Breakdown cover
Re: RAC Breakdown cover
That's quite a discount for one phone call.
Sadly they all seem to try a huge price hike these days.
I've just changed from RAC to GEM as they only say they 'may' provide recovery if the only driver is ill. This cover is important as Mrs B doesn't drive so we need to know. I just can't see them sorting it with this wording in the policy docs.

Re: RAC Breakdown cover
I recently (last year) changed from RAC (about 20 years) to GEM because of the price hike and after a phone call the discount they offered was not sufficient!
