Hi folks,
I've recently purchased a new style Aero bongo (previous 95 diesel owner). So far very pleased with everything, especially the larger AFT roof tent. Noticeable improvement over the older model.
One slightly irritating thing is the new tent fabric which is a sort of laminate. The overhangs around the main zips on the roof tent have curled back at the sides (probably from being folded down for so long). I suspect this is going to let water into the tent around the zips during a decent storm. Has anyone else encountered this and more importantly know the best way to flatten the plastic back over the zips. Manually bending it back has no effect whatsoever.
best regards

Re: Removing folds in plastic AFT tent
The covering flaps are only the outer plastic coating, if they won't stay down try using a bit of warmth from a hair dryer on them and leave them to cool with the tent taught rather than loose. Just don't use to much heat!

That's right it's the laminate on the outside covering the main zip (but inside the flyscreen). Will try the hairdryer suggestion
