Vehicle Cover: Volunteer Required

Post by Ian » Thu Feb 01, 2018 11:28 am

The vehicle covers we previously stocked in the Bongoland shop are now no longer available. We have obtained one from another supplier and it fits a Mercedes Vito but we need to check if it fits a Bongo with an AFT roof. I've got a low top Bongo so can't check. Anyone out there want to test it out and take some photos?

If you want to check it on an aftermarket roof one, Bob could pass it to me? Roofs are similar though.

That would be good. And if there's a lowtop at March hare (mine has roof bars) you could test it on that too. Are you both going to Wallingford?

Sadly Wallingford clashes with a wool show in Builth Wells. :(

Real shame as it is a great site and perfect location, but guess where Mrs B says we're going. :?

Happy to pass it on to Jilly, though.

Hmmm...

Checking dates (I'm told it's a very serious offence to mess up booking the wool show) there seems to be a little confusion about the Wallingford dates.

In 'Fancy Meeting Up' it shows as 19-22 April, but in the Member's area it gives 26-29 April.

If it's the first dates we'll be there, and obviously we need to be sure so as peeps all show up the right weekend.

Well done Bob. I wondered how long it would take you to spot it! I can confirm that, fortunately for the rest of us, the correct date is the last weekend in April for the Softies meeting. They were not available on our preferred date.

I will change the listing in the "Fancy Meeting Up" section, but to clarify. the Southern Softies meeting will be in Wallingford 26 to 29 April.

I'll collect it from Bob at March Hare and take it to Wallingford. Will test on a tintop if I can but I'm sure there'll be one at Wallingford.
