I spotted that too :)
Have you kept a note of how many night's camping you've spent in the Bongo then? I thought I was doing well with 27 nights in 5 months (I like to get my money's worth :D)

Thanks for the comments guys & girls, I'm humbled at how many posts use the word inspired or inspirational etc.

Not just the starter battery but think of all the cold starts on the original glowplugs, starter motor & alternator etc. I reckon they thrive on being used, leaving them parked up doesn't do them any favours at all. But use them kindly, I like to think I drive Bongy carefully although I do have another car when I want to drive like a twonk, which I do, but that's been in a car designed for the purpose

No idea how many nights we've camped in the old girl although I could trawl back through photos and tour reports and Bongo-camp photo galleries, although I'd have to add for nights slept in the works carpark and outside Jr's house in Reading :D

Correct Dabs, a yellow Seat León Cupra, we were in full research mode and interested in awning setups, in fact everything to do with the Bongo life as we were almost sure, but not quite.

Tomorrow's task? - another filter & oil change, plus an air filter as it's a special occasion

Why would any of us be amazed? [-X He hasn't needed many starter batteries because he hardly ever turns the blooming engine off!

Hi Muz what an excellent advert for buying a Bongo and proof that regular maintenance and care is the way to go. Mine has recently hit 100,000 miles. If I can get another 300,000 I will be well pleased. Love the photos as always. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and family. Caz
