As some of you already know, our beloved Bongo was written off during our French trip this year (luckily we weren't in it at the time, unluckily the lorry driver involved didn't leave any details).
Because of this we have taken the plunge and done something we've been wanting to do for a long time which is convert our own van. With this in mind we have bought and nearly finished our conversion of a 2012 Renault Master - it's not a Bongo and doesn't command admiring glances when you pop up the roof, but it does have it's own attribute (a fixed bed and swivel driver's seat being two of them).
This means that we will be leaving you all. So good luck for the future and if you're waved at or flashed by a woman in a white van, it's probably me just trying to be part of something and be friendly - wave back, nothing bad will happen .

Re: Leaving you all!
You don't need to go Janie
You and your new motor will be welcome on here and at any Meets you would like to come to.
In any event, very best for the future.

Thanks Bob,
Don't know how many meets we'll be able to make, but I might still lurk on here from time to time.

Good luck with the new van, I guess it'll be easier to repair if it breaks down in France
I hope you have as much fun as you had with the Bongo. Pop back here from time to time, just to check we're all still playing nicely

Re: Leaving you all!
Good luck with the conversion Janie. What I saw at Looe was very impressive after only 3 weeks. Don't be a stranger.

Thanks everyone. I’ll have to pop back here every so often just to check how you all are x
