Newbie Just saying hello :-)
Hi Guys
So I've been checking out quite a lot of this forum (and site) lately since buying my Bongo a couple of months ago, just got round to registering onto the forum and will soon becoming a member too...
So a bit about me and my Bongo.
I'm Joel, from a rubbish town in the Midlands, so rubbish that I bought a Bongo to get away most weekends Just me and my dawg.
So I have a 1995 2.5 TurboDiesel model with rear conversion. Sink/hob/fridge etc and it also has a solar panel on the Auto Top which keeps the leisure battery charged, has a split charge relay system as well and a Fiamma F45s awning on the side (Privacy room is on its way from Italy so looking forward to getting that soon!)
It also has an inverter in glove box but I'm yet to find out what its actually doing as my 240v sockets do not work off grid. (I thought inverters "invert" DC to AC, but hey, it must be doing something else. Time will tell.
I've been out in it a couple of times so far to test it out and all seems good, but I am having a timing belt/water pump replacement on Tuesday along with a good service for good measure and on Weds I'm having swivel seats fitted. Skint now haha
Well that's me.... I do have a lot of questions as I would like to make sure my Bongo is in tip top nick for next year but will save them for other posts.
Hope to chat to you all soon!

And welcome from us.

Just have a look in 'Fancy meeting up', then show up and say, "Hi".

Oh Thanks, I might just do that... I'm booked in at a place in Melbourne (to try out my new privacy room- but looks like it will not arrive in time) but might cancel and pop to Eastnor Castle to meet some of you guys.

Campsite not open all the time. Watch out for the meet in Fancy Meeting Up, usually last weekend of September. There will be other meets though.joeldrummer79 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2017 9:55 pmBob wrote:And welcome from us.
