Will it take the strain?.....
Hi Bongoliers and Bongonauts, I have just seen a post on another forum that has set me thinking. The poster asked what weight his pop up roof(not a bongo) would take. Neither Sir nor I are persons of slender proportions, and I am now wondering if there is a weight limit for the aft. Anybody know?

Hi
Intresting question.
It pretty robust, but there must be a limit, just don't know what it is myself.

its made of 2 pieces of thin aluminium with a dense foam inner, best for the average person to spread their weight, cutting it and turning it into the catflap helps as when this is done you use ally C section on the edges, this strengthens it considerably.
this was made by umbongocat, search for his threads.
ive found the thread here. i did my wifes and several others like this and it really was an improvement, both in usefulness and strength.

Thanks to Ian and Northern bongolow, looks like the way ahead is a cat flap together with a balanced diet and more exercise!
