Help me buy the correct grill.

Post by Syner » Thu Aug 25, 2016 7:57 pm

So I bought this Bongo https://www.gumtree.com/p/campervans-mo ... 1184272093 I'm pleased to say at £5500 rather than £6700.

It's missing the front grill, as you can see from the pictures. Can anyone help me find the correct replacement for it. http://www.parts.loc8apart.co.uk/search ... ongo+grill

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,.

Try George at Bongospares as he seems to have spare everything for Bongos. Tell him model (Mazda Bongo or Ford Freda) and date and he will advise.

Not a bad custom grille - you might find a buyer for it on here or ebay ;-)

I had a mazdaspeed grill on mine Mike, very similar to the grill in the pictures, I very much liked the look of my grill and was asked by several bongo owners white I had got it from.

Adrian at Japandirect has a few breaking Bongos with Mk1 grilles that i've seen (and maybe has Mk2 grilles also) so he could be worth calling. Some grilles might need respraying (but old grilles generally do anyway for smartness) but this ought to be reflected in the price.
