Hi
Just wondering if anyone has fitted a roll out awning with a mushroom roof as the pin to raise the roof looks like it maybe in the way ?
Cheers Dave
Mushroom roof with awning
Re: Mushroom roof with awning
We fitted a Fiamma awning to our Bongo. Easy to fit the awning but as you say the pin for the roof ends up behind it.
I tried all sorts of pole arrangements which did work but was a bit of a faff. It is possible to push the roof up from the inside, heavy though, and I then fastened a length of nylon strap to the inside of the roof to enable it to be pulled down. It's necessary to "catch" the roof on it's way down otherwise it comes down with a hell of a thump which may break it.
Hope this helps.
