Max Headroom

Post by mister munkey » Sat Jun 11, 2016 1:17 pm

Hi gang, just dipping in after far too long so apologies for absence. I've been Bongoless for four years or so now rarely visit bit still keep in touch with a few of the Old Crowd via facebook etc. Which is the reason for this post.

News came yesterday that our old chum, dedicated Bongonaught and all round good guy Nic Jewell/Max Headroom has passed away. He leaves his lovely wife Laura, two grown up sons and seven year old Ruby. The guy was a gem and will be sadly missed. I know no detail of the circumstances yet but I would imagine details of the service, probably in Gloucester will soon be known.

I'll be going if I can, if anyone else would like details please let me know.

Jeebers that is such sad news. My deepest sympathies to the family. I only met him once, at one of your Daffy bashes, but he was a great guy, always a tonic on here, and i'd often wondered if he was still out there Bongoing.

Hope all good with you Chris.

Laura has been in touch, I've let her know we are aware of what's happened and the responses from BF, she's replied with "Thanks Chris, that means an awful lot and he would be so overwhelmed with how loved and respected he was. We have a huge hole in our lives and will be a struggle to get through. I will let you know of any arrangements. Thank you so much for your support xxxxx"

I'll post details here when arrangements have been made.
