Farewell to 2Sticks

Post by Ian » Tue Jan 05, 2016 11:15 am

It is with sadness that we have to announce the passing away of one of our founder members, Ben Bruce. "2Sticks", as he was known on the Forum, passed away peacefully in his sleep on 28th December. He was a stalwart of the Bongo scene. Ben and his wife Pat were more-or-less season ticket holders at all the Bongo meetings over the last 12 years. He was the unofficial video-historian of the club, and his last Bongo video, made at Sherwood Forest in October, provides a suitable memorial.

Our thoughts are with Pat, Terry and their family. The Bongo flag is flying at half mast.

Goodbye Ben.

Absolutely gutted :(
Pat and Ben were always so helpful and friendly to everybody. They were probably the first people to welcome me to the meets and I shall really miss them. Farewell old bugger
Sincere condolences to their family.
