Re: All steamed up

Re: All steamed up
Sounds like it airlocked & pressurised the system, popping the pressure cap, this wouldn't set off the low cooalant alarm (nothing is perfect  ) but the high level add on would have picked it up. Check for pinholes, rad seam weeps, etc, may be worth pressure testing the coolant system. Go...

AA man pressurised the rad and we couldn,t see any leaks He suggested it could be the thermostat. wanted to ...

Re: Switched LIVE feed.
Am i missing something here Haydn?
When i fitted my LB i pulled fuses for Lighter, Radio, blinds and what not and fitted the lives from the LB to one side of the fuse holder to feed those circuits.
I then fitted my LCA and TM2 to the other side of these holders to give me a switched live.

Oil cooler
guys, I have found a leak on the oil cooler that sits behind the radiator. Think the leak is from the rubber hoses at the top. The thing is, is this cooler for engine oil or transmission oil? Would be a nightmare if I drained the wrong one. Even after draining, am I going to make a big mess? I can't...

Re: Steering Creaking
under the feet is the anti roll bar and brackets, they are hard to detect as faulty in the early stages of failure. for the price, ive been told gen mazda ones are approx£5 each + £5 for each rubber, you need 2 of each. there is a quick test/cheap fix,try removing one,and wrapping the rubber with a sl...

Changing hoseclips to constant pressure
Got a set of constant pressure hose clips from Haydn, thanks mate, and was wondering if it would be possible to change my clips on the 4 big hoses without draining the coolant. What i mean is, undo the old clips completely and remove. Open up the new ones and wrap around the hose and redo. Secondly ...
