Re: Brakes
lots of bongo's have what seems to be extra travel before they bite, compared to normal cars, its not uncommon,if your concerned take it to an mot station and get them to test the braking power.

Re: Cruise Control Fitting
best place to pick up the vacuum is at the lower front of the engine (drivers side!) under the main water in pipe/cambelt cover, where small rubber hose goes onto a metal pipe which feeds the solenoids. i've always picked up there and never had a problem. IIRC test procedure is start car with set bu...

Re: Leak from Oil Cooler Feed (V6) - I'm guessing....
When you say simple fix - Is it just reseat the pipe or is it a replace the pipe job? I don't think that the pipe has a split but I'm slightly concerned that the pipe might just have lost some flex... its usually just reseating the pipe and maybe putting a jubilee clip on it, sometimes the pipes be...

Re: How to replace original steering wheel with a wooden one
which year and do you have drivers airbag? steering wheel face is usually held on with 10mm bolts, found on the back of the wheel, sometinmes under a plastic grommet, pop it/them off and you'll see the bolts, undo that the front of the wheel/airbag will pull off, disconnect wiring. The actual wheel ...

Re: Diesel Pump leak
depends on the leak, there are 3 seals that fail in the pump, 2 on the sides (inside is awkward) and rear, if its side seals they can be done in situ, if its the rear, its best to get it out, even then its a mare of a job.

Re: injector seats !!!
Do you mean the 'top hat' or the little ridged washer that goes between the top hat and the injector? either way both are required, so yes they need to be replaced, new heads usually come with them in the bag of bits??
