Sunroof cover lining coming unstuck What glue will fix?

Hi All My Bongo belonged to the All Japan Smoking Champion, a dentist who should have known better :o and had to be ferociously valeted to get rid pf the pong and nicotine. As a result of this (probably someone used a steam cleaner), the sunroof cover lining has come unglued. Since most of you have ...

Re: heat light on v6 petrol staying on.help!!

Hi My 95 V6 has the two sensors. Lambda before the cat and the heat sensor in the middle of the cat. No elbow both go straight down with no wires visable as they are both completely sleeved. The single sensor on the later Bongo is probably a combined heat and Lambda. Both feed back into the ECU. Lam...

Re: V6 crank shaft oil seal

Worrying  My 95 V6 has dne 101,000 km, about 70,000 miles with no known problems. None in UK anyway. So far it has been as Mike has said, bulletproof. No overheating, uses no oil or coolant. =D> =D> Has the absence of V6 ers with serious problems been due to reliability or just the rarity of t...

Brown PlasticBox Cliped to Back of Front Grill - What is it?

My 2.5 petrol Bongo has a brown plastic box about 6in x 4in clipped to the back of the front grill. It is very amaturishly connected to the battery terminals, but there is no sign of a switch or connection elsewhere. My guess is a Japanese garage door opener. Am I right and it is something I can saf...

Re: Rear washer no, rear wiper yes

I had this on my Bongo and at first thought I had a fault.

Unlike more modern cars there is a second reservoir for the rear wipers on the passenger side at the back near the air conditioning controls. The pump back there appeared soundless but worked once the second reservoir was topped up.

Re: In-Dash Sat-Nav for a Bongo

For a cheaper alternative Aldi are doing a Sat Nav for £124 from Thursday. It includes Western Europe and has free updates for life.

Better than my Road Angel. £50 a year for updates. Not in stock yet at my local Aldi because I tried to get one today.

Cheers

Re: Number Plate Sizes

Thanks Dave

Saved me a lot of guessing.

Should have said Hi to everyone straight away. But I will say it now.

First post I made that worked.

See you at Looe.

Number Plate Sizes

I am about to swap numbers on my Bongo. Adding a personal plate to confuse all at Looe.

I am sure someone can tell me the correct sizes for the new plates. The ones supplied with my Bongo fit badly, specially the front plate which is way too big.

Thanks

Mary
