Re: Dodgy Bristol Bongo seller -several aliases?

Hi Helen Yes it is Anna Queshi is his wife. Confirmed by several people who bought their Bongo off him. Rats deserting? Just advised a girl who was due to collect a purchase off him not to. If he has transferred the premises he could have transferred the stock. Anyone could own it and she could find...

Re: Mr HAYAT-Dodgy Bristol Bongo seller

Was about to post this one. He seems to be taking evasive action. Mini center lease sold as of 12 May to a woman who has no knowledge of him.

Looks like this was at least the third sale of the black Bongo. £250 a time. Beats actually selling it. Another happy customer on FB today.

Re: Mr HAYAT-Dodgy Bristol Bongo seller

Answer a money transfer service, such as Western Union or a bank transfer. There a lot of ways to do this.

A lot of people would laugh if HMRC caught up with him

Re: Mr HAYAT-Dodgy Bristol Bongo seller

He makes it a condition that anybody who bids on his Bongos is required to pay a cash deposit if they win. Refuses PayPal or credit card. Refuses to give out details without this cash. Only part of the whole set up. Also something very dubious with eBay, as there is no financial evidence that the tr...

Re: Mr HAYAT-Dodgy Bristol Bongo seller

He's excelled himself this time. Sold the same Bongo, the black one, to two different people at the same time. One has paid a deposit, the other was waiting to see it later today. He has sent one an message saying he has to go to Cornwall for a family bereavement, as they were both due to pick it up...

Re: LPG valve

Yes AJC did my conversion, using a Prins system. It was very well done and has been problem free. Prins is a good quality system and the UK agents are in Southampton, so spares are not a problem. I would recommend them as a specialist garage, classic cars, who have been doing LPG conversions for som...

Re: The Oldest Bongo Still On The Road

All these Bongo's mentioned so far are diesel. I am putting in a claim for the oldest petrol. My V6 was first registered in Japan on 1st October 1995 at Kochi, Shikkoku Island, Japan. The Russian site gives Release Date as 11/10/1995, which fits with a last registration date of 12/10/2006. As very fe...

Look at this thread on the same problem. Find a Bongo friendly garage for a re test. They just do not perform like a modern car. Quirky like all Bongo's. Mine is a 95 so would be similar to your 96.

Re: High Emissions?

No great scientific understanding understanding of this but on the 2013 MOT my V6 with LPG, initially failed on emissions on LPG. A total shock because the emissions had always been fine. I took it back to the LPG installers. They tested it on their machine found the emissions fine, but gave it a tu...

Re: Southern Softies 2015

Anyone coming from the east today, the M27 is closed both ways between junctions 8 & 9.at Swanwick. This is a major crash and fire so it will not be a quick re opening. An alternative route will be needed and the A27 is not the best so expect delays. Damage to the road surface could disrupt into...

Re: Unconverted Bongo

Never tried a Caravan Club site but when my tin top was unconverted, I always found being loaded up with camping kit was enough. Its a brave campsite owner who insists everything is unloaded to check out the seating arrangements and to confirm that everything unfolds to form a bed. Also to play hunt...

Re: Burning Smell - 2lt Petrol Bongo 2001

Second Simon's advice. I have a V6 which has a wiff, specially noticeable when reversing up the drive on a cold morning. Others who own V6's have also noticed something similar. The suggestion has been oil leaking from cam seals but I got it with no sign of a leak. My cam seals have just started lea...

Re: Mad as a March Hare meet , Golden Swan, nr Pewsey

Bewilderbeast is sick at the moment. Bongo not the dog. Off to Discount Trucks on Tuesday and there at least a week. Leaking water pump which is a major dismantling job on a V6 Bongo. Cam belt as well while it is in pieces. I should be fine for this as long as nothing else is not found. Hopefully se...
